Staff Requirements

General Requirements

Absolutely no hentai/ecchi, heavy yuri/yaoi or adult content allowed.

Trust is a big deal in Strawberry Fire. Break our trust, you lose your position and, possibly, your right to come here.

Be nice and don’t swear, use profanity, or talk gross to us or in whatever you’re doing.

Everyone has lives but please do your assigned job as often as possible and inform us when you're going on a long break.

If we don’t hear from you for more than 90 days, we automatically assume you’re not coming back and you’ll be removed. If you wish to come back, you’ll have to submit the form again and tell us why you didn’t keep in contact.

Must read the "Position Requirements" before applying.

Under "What Is It?" type down "Hear ye needn’ help" without the quotation marks.

Keep in contact with us, meaning email frequently of what you’re doing (you need to talk to Devillicious only, usually). Talking on the shoutbox is another way if you can't email (it's faster too). Please keep major site talk in emails only.

Position Requirements

Number of openings will be in these [-] and may be changed when/if we feel we need more or less staff for those positions.

Depending on your ability and knowledge, some of these may be combined when you apply but you must follow the requirements for each of the positions you’re applying for.

Graphic/Wallpaper/Layout Designer [2]

At least know what you're doing. You're ability should be as good as Devillicious' abilities.

Good designing program (i.e. Adobe Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro).

Send an url example of a graphic made by you so we know what you’re capable of.

Tutorial Writer [2]

Depending on the tutorial, you must have either designing knowledge (how to use Adobe Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro) or good knowledge in Javascript, HTML, CSS, PHP, etc.

Good at describing what you’re doing (in the tutorial).

English only.

Don’t make too many mistakes in the tutorial.

Send an url example (doesn’t have to be a big tutorial).

Anime and/or Manga Information Writer [2]

Write the reviews and information yourself.

English only.

Don’t make too many mistakes in the review or information.

Can’t be made up (i.e. you're own story, etc.) because that's just lame O_O.

Know what you’re talking about and write it so people understand.

Site Helper [1]

No knowledge required unless specified.

You must double check everything in the site and tell us if there are any broken links, misspelled words, incorrect coding, or anything else that needs our attention.

Take care of something on the site (i.e. giving out the awards or helping with a contest).

Basically, you must be there if we need help with anything and you must be willing to do it.

We are open to suggestions of other staff positions and ideas. No dolls are glitter graphics please. Some glitter graphics may be accepted upon request.
